9 Months Already?!

I can't believe our little guy is already 9 months!! Time has seriously flown by! We have loved EVERY minute of him.....well getting up in the night hasn't been enjoyable...more...worth it I guess :) But he is so fun to watch learn new things and grow.

Some facts about Jax:

• Crawls all over the place getting into anything and everything he can
• Pulls himself to standing position
• Crawls up stairs
• Stands on his tippy toes like his mommy did she was little!...Ok like she still does :)
• Loves real green beans just like mommy
• Still only has on tooth
• Loves Loves Loves any drink, especially in a cup with a straw, that's what actually got him to crawl!
• Loves to play in my make up and pull everything out of cupboards and drawers
• When he's excited he rolls his wrists and ankles
• Usually sleeps all night, but since he's teething we haven't been as lucky
• We've already had to lower the matress after finding him standing up in his crib!
• He wears 12 month clothes
• He has really good senses; he can hear the alarm system say someone is at the door and he'll stop what he's doing and look towards the door and wait for someone to come in
• He LOVES birds! He could sit outside all day and watch little birds fly around and land on powerlines and trees, it's so funny that he can pick them out and watch them
• He likes to play with vents, I don't know if it's the air that comes out or that it has holes or what but he always crawls to them and sticks his fingers down in them
• He likes to sit on our rugs and pull the corners up, almost like he's turning them upside down
• We just ordered his big boy carseat! We're getting a bigger one that he can sit up in! (but still face backwards of course)
• Won't sit still in church or the bath tub, he always wants to crawl, stand up on the side, or roll over in it. And in church he either crawls away or sits and babbles loudly!
• He cuddles in bed while we watch TV or when we bring him in our room in the mornings (usually only with Ty of course)
• And like always, he is a TOTAL DADDY'S BOY! He can hear the garage door open and immediately starts crawling to the door knowing daddy's coming in soon! Then he get's really excited and starts rolling his wrists and ankles and crawls up his legs...he just LOVES him! (It's cute but I'm kinda jealous that I spend more time with him and he always wants daddy :(

Now that he is crawling he is not gaining weight as fast as he used to. His weight peaked at 21 lbs but he now weighs 20.8 lbs as of his 9mo appt. His head circ. is 46cm (I think) and his height was 24 1/4 in. So he's close to the 50th percentile in most areas, higher in weight and head and a little below in height.
