The First Hansens Holidays!

Christmas was spent with both our families since we live so close to each other.  We went to my Grandma Dona's house for Christmas Eve to eat dinner and spend some time with our relatives before Santa came.  Then we went to his house to spend some time Christmas Eve there as well and spent the night there.   Then New Years was spent at my house eatin Crab and Prime Rib--but the pictures got deleted :(
Just waitin for Santa to come!!
Santa was very good to us for our first Christmas (probably too good, he'll have to cut back next year).  We got spoiled with lots of presents from each other and family and friends.  We stayed at his house Christmas Eve to spend Christmas morning with his family and then head over to my house for Christmas afternoon.  Daisy had fun gnawing on presents too!
Gettin excited to open presents Christmas morning waitin for everyone to wake up!
We got lots of clothes like hoodies, sweaters, shirts, and socks.  Games (Dirty Minds and Saucy Charades) lotions, perfumes, shampoo and conditioner.  DVDs, table cloth, ipod gift cards...the list goes on!
Ty loved his new remote control!
This was at a Christmas Party for my School.  It wasn't really an ugly sweater party, but we kind of just made it one ourselves.  Me and Nancy (between me and Linzee) went to the DI during lunch and bought them in the kids section, they are sizes 3T, 4T, and 7 in kids.  It was really fun!  The party was a good turnout too!
One of Ty's best friends Riley Lindsey got married to JaKelle during the break.  This was at his reception.

Ty dug around 20 holes for my family to ice fish in.  No it wasn't too hard, it was electric so he just had to turn it on and hold it there.
We caught over 20 fish all together
My dad is a HUGE Ice Fisher.  He takes it real serious.  So we have all the new gadgets and toys you need to do well while having fun out on the ice.  He has an electric Ogar, a fish finder, the newest fishing poles "guaranteed to make catching fish easier"...and lots more.  This is his Ice Tent he got for Christmas last year.  It has a heater in it so when we got cold, we'd go sit in there to warm up.
This was Ty's first time Ice Fishin so I was glad when he caught a few fish!  He liked it and wanted to ditch work and go the next day!!  (I was up for it and you KNOW my dad was!)
Ty and JD gutting and cleaning the fish so we could eat them for dinner!  mmm!!

Christmas looks like fun. It makes me sad that we live to far to come up. Tell your sister in law to read Baby Wise by Gary Ezzo, MD & Robert Bucknam, MD. It worked for Madi she slept through the night at six weeks.
