UDA Convention 2012

The dental convention this year was a lot of fun. I think mostly because it's fun to catch up with old classmates. But also getting away and staying in a hotel, eating out, and getting lots of free whitening and other dental samples--all while earning CE credits for my license. Every time we renew our license (every 2 years) we need to have 30 CE credits because as we all know science and the medical field are always changing. So it's good to learn about the changes and improvements in real life.
The convention was at the Salt Palace in SLC and we stayed across the street at the Shilo Inn
A few of the friends I met up with
Kristen, Natalie, Me, Ali, and Kelli
My favorite class was "The Passion-Centered Practice" by Gary Zelesky. It was awesome! He is an amazing person and speaker and afterwards he gave out his free book "The Passion-Centered Person" that he personally signed!!
Check out this lady's hair!...No, the lady in the back!! Ha!
And a closer look...very stylish....err
Tyson came up the 2nd night so I wasn't alone and we took Jax to the Aquarium in Sandy. It was pretty cool but not as cool as we thought it was going to be...plus there were so many kids/people crowding around everything we couldn't even get close enough to see anything
We got to TOUCH stingrays!
The penguins were my favorite! They are so cute and way FAST!!
I know this picture is blurry but Jax was so funny all kicked back and relaxed on the way home! The DVD players we got him for Christmas have been one of the BEST purchases we have made on him!
