4th of July

This 4th of July was tons better than last year!  (We didn't have the stomach flu)  We just did the usual: spent the 3rd of July with the Hansen's and then the Aurora fireworks, went to the Richfield parade on the morning of the 4th, then went home and napped before going to the Aurora festivities.  It was so hot that we actually didn't stay too long before going home to let the kids cool off in the pool.
Ya we couldn't get 3 kids to sit still for one picture...
Can you see why I'm absolutely smitten by this girl?

Sevier County knows how to do it!  Check out that bag of candy!  it fells the whole back seat!

Have you ever been to a shrimp boil?  Well I LOVE shrimp so this was amazing!!
Cade loved shrimp too!  I couldn't fit one more piece in his mouth!!

Our trip to Cali

The kids and I took a trip out to California to visit Linzee, Wes, and Sadie back in May and I'm finally getting around to posting the pictures we took.  i knew I was going to have Linzee chop my hair off so I wanted to hurry and get a few mommy and me picture with my kids.  Linzee did a pretty good job at taking these pictures!  I think she should move home and be my assistant!  What do you think?!

I couldn't decide if I liked it better in color or black and white.  Which do you like best?
Would you believe me if I told you this is an onion field?  I never would have guessed that!  Pretty onion field huh?
And my favorite picture of Jax!!!  He loves trains so I don't know who was more excited to get t his picture, him or me...
Don't worry, the train wasn't moving!  It was just sitting there with it's engine and lights on.  But it makes this picture 1000x better!

We had a good time there of course!  Ty couldn't (or wouldn't) take a whole week off work and I had the whole week off at my job so we did girl stuff.  We made cards and bottled chicken and she made me try sushi for the first time.  I wasn't too sure of it but I'm learning to love it.  I took pictures of a lot of her friends' families while there and she chopped 18 inches off my hair!!!!  Ya it was hard and it has (and still is) taking time to get used to but my hair NEEDED a nice clean cut after dying it dark brown and bleaching it back blonde.  We had a good time and we can't wait to go back!!

BMX

Have I mentioned Jaxton LOVES his Strider bike?  It didn't take long after we gave it to him for him to just take off!  So we entered him into BMX racing and he absolutely loves that too!  There's just something about a boy and dirt that go together :)  It has taught him how to balance really well that the very first time we put him on a pedal bike he was riding!  It's cute to see such a little boy riding a bike so well!

READY!

SET!
GO!!!

Hot Air Balloon Festival

The hot air balloon festival has always been one of my favorite county activities to attend.  There's just something magical about a 7-8 thousand pound balloon floating in the air by just hot air!  Besides that look how beautiful they are!!

Have you ever seen a balloon being put away?  It's a pretty big process
And then thee's the balloon glow!  It's really neat to see the balloons lit up in the dark!

Sister Retreat 2014

We spent our annual sister retreat in Park City this year.  I absolutely LOVE Park City!  We spent a whole day riding the Alpine slide, coater, and zip line.  Besides all that we of course went shopping and out to eat!  It was a blast!  Thanks for planning it McCall!
 Zip Line!

Mom got a little scared...!  Haha!  We couldn't stop laughing at her facial expressions as the zip line came to an immediate halt!!  We love you mom!  (Please don't kill me for this!)
