A month ago my dad took Jax to watch the BMX races with him. Since my dad knew Kevin Rasmussen that was putting it on, he insisted my dad put Jax on a bike and let him ride around. After seeing how comfortable he was on a strider bike Kevin tried putting a helmet on Jax so he could race with the other kids but Jax wasn't having it and was done all together after that. So we prepared him for this race. We made him wear a helmet whenever he wanted to ride his bike (which is 24/7) and pep-talked him about racing and the next time he went to the BMX races he was ready!

You have no idea how much this man means to Jax. He LOVES "Papa" and always wants to go see him and do whatever he is doing. And I think it's ok Papa spoils him! After all Jax IS his only grandson!
Jaxton was SOOOO proud he got a trophy! He made sure to walk up to every person he passed on his way out to show them (even if we didn't know them!)
What I love most about this picture is that Jax is smiling under his helmet!!
